1969 Mustang Mach 1 H Code 4 Speed Sportsroof restoration project
I have lowered the reserve price a considerable amount
I will hold the car in secure storage at no extra charge for as long as you need before you can come and pick it up
Marti Report states - " built at Dearborn, Mustang Mach 1 Sportsroof, Indian Fire Red Paint, white clarion knit vinyl seats, Memphis DSO, 3.00 9 inch axle, 4 speed toploader, sold at Jack Yarber Ford, Athens, Alabama, produced June 2, 1969 "- has a 1971 351 Cleveland 2 V engine in it now . car does not come with transmission- comes with 9 inch rear axle with axle shafts only no third member - this car is a roller.
the roof is dented in the front where a pole fell on it before I bought it, the A pillars are good, not twisted or bent - so you will have the proper geometry to weld the new fastback roof on without having to worry about A pillar work on top of that - I have a brand new in box Dynacorn Fastback roof that comes with car and a new one piece Dynacorn floorpan that will go with car. the passenger quarter panel is dented but the metal is thick and solid, the rear glass is on car to show that the pole falling on it did not damage the rear glass opening - this is the original glass, all glass included with car - new windshield, door windows, quarter windows, front and rear bumpers included. many other parts come with the car - steering box, power steering pump, control valve, steering cylinder, drag link, wiper motor and linkages, trunk latch, hood latch, parking brak, pair of door sports mirrors, a new battery tray, brake booster and master cylinder, a full Mach 1 original white interior and instruments is available at extra cost, I bought an really nice used interior from a different 69 Mach , the one originally in the car in too rough a shape to use. this is a major project in need of a lot of work - ask any questions you like or request more photos. car was imported into Canada and has Clear Alabama Title and Vin Door Tag, Windshield Vin Tag and Rad Support Vin Buck Tag never tampered with or removed, the original hood and trunk lid were badly rusted and were replaced with good original Ford metal
there have been no modifications to the car, there are no weld repairs anywhere I can see, this is not a butchered abandoned half ass restoration gone wrong - it is the car in the state it was found in Alabama ready for a complete frame up restoration, I have had to abandon project cars in the past because of previous owners hacking them up and patching in welds - this car has none of that, it will need new tail light panel ( dented ) possibly passenger quarter ( dented , it will need repairs to the cowl, engine bay aprons and shock towers and other repairs as needed, its a honest car waiting for a new owner to give her the love she deserves
I will work with the buyer to facilitate shipping - American shipping companies offer much better rates and service than Canadian ones - so you choose your shipping company, and I will assist in loading the car and any extra parts and provide the shipper with the Alabama Title Documents for Importing this car back to America from Canada, as well as take and send photos to the buyer as the car and parts are loaded and send photos of the Alabama Clear Title DocumentsOn Apr-01-20 at 08:05:10 PDT, seller added the following information:
