This is a hard to find 351 4bbl Cleveland M code Mach 1. It is missing the engine and transmission it has been gone for years. The car has never been in an accident that I can find anywhere. It is a very straight car. The frame rails and rockers look real nice and solid as well as the torque boxes. A couple of the floor pans need to be replaced as seen in the pictures. The car has 80-90 % of the parts you nee, minus the drivetrain, to finish the car. I have original doors and OEM Right fender, The rear quarters seem original. New after market left fender. The doors have been media blasted and primered to see what needs to be done. the original doors fit way better than aftermarket, so repairing the door is a better option. It has the dash and instrument cluster, seat, and dash pad. There are a few more parts than are even shown. All that is shown in the pictures, goes with the sale EXCEPT the engines.
If you want one of these engines pictured they are extra. The completely redone engine, that is painted, is a 390 4bbl. It is ready to go. It was rebuilt to factory spec and will make a great engine for this car. I had the engine completely redone last year but never installed it in the car. If you want this 390 engine, I will sell it for an addition $3000 over the price of the car.
The other engine shown is a 351 Cleveland 2bbl engine. It came out of a running Ranchero about 10 years ago. I do not know much more than that about the engine, and it is complete with carb and transmission. If you want this engine, it will be an additional $1000.I will drop in either engine into the engine bay and secure it for transportation.
They reason I am not including an engine in the action is because a buyer may already have an engine and they only the Mach I car so they can save some money that way. There is some minor surface rust that, I had treated the roof so that it would preserve the metal.
Shipping and transportation is totally up to the buyer. I need the car bought and paid fo, then moved out of my garage within a few weeks. I need the space. That is why I am selling it in the first place. If you need me to have it towed to a storage unit and you pay all the charges until you can get i, that is fine, but those are all the buyers costs. I can help load the car on to a trailer or transport. I am willing to sell overseas, but like I stated, the car needs to paid for right away and moved right away out of my garage.
This is a perfect car for restoration. I need to restate that this car does not look like it has never been restored or cut up before. It makes for the doors and fenders to fit so much better with nice straight lines. The car rolls around nicely, the rear tire seems to loose air. I will try and fix the tire. I took a lot of pictures and posted them so you can see pretty much what you are buying. Car sold AS-ISI need to have a $500 deposit right away with paypal. The balance due with-in 7 days. I really do NOT want you to pay the balance with paypal if possible, their fees are too high. Please send me any questions you have, I will try to get you pictures as needed. Once the auction is over I expect it to be a binding offer. I only like to sell it once. I have great feedback from Ebay and I am easy to deal with and trusted. Thanks for looking and bidding. On Aug-16-20 at 16:13:08 PDT, seller added the following information:
The car also has the original Buck tag still attached to the radiator support by the headlight hole
On Aug-19-20 at 14:02:39 PDT, seller added the following information:Great Engine UPDATE- I now have a 1970 Cleveland 351 V-8 4bbl M-code correct engine for sale to the winner of this Mach I auction. Just today, out of the blue, I meet a Ford guy close to town that sold me a wonderful Cleveland 4bbl that he took out of a 1970 car 25 -30 years ago. it turns wonderfully, std bore (so it has never been bored out) He kept it indoor all these years and kept lube in the cylinders and turned it over by hand all the time. It is an complete engine with matching date codes all around Dec 1969 so, it was for 1970 cars. engine comes with both heads, exshast manifolds, 4bbl intake, valve covers and oil pan. It is just luck that I found the correct engine the week of the auction.I will try to load a picture of the engine, but just contact me this week for email you pictures and I can send anyone who asks those.
On Aug-19-20 at 14:19:41 PDT, seller added the following information:I don't know if the listing showed. But the cost of the 4bbl 351C 1970 engine that I just picked up is $2500 in addition to the cost of the action. This auction Mach I car does not come with an engine because the original engine is gone and buyers might have their own idea what they want engine wise.I have the following engines available to the winner that I think I can put in the engine bay for shipping:1971 - 390 $3000 completely redone1973- 351C 2bbl with FMX trans -$1000needs rebuilding1970- 351C 4bbl - $2500 great choice, year and model correct engine, needs rebuilding or freshen up
Email me if you want pictures or other information. Sorry for any repeat info on the listing.
