Car description |
---|
This car is a 20+ years barn find, it has been stored since 1989. I have a clean title in my name.
The body of the car is in fair shape there are chinks in the body paint, a few dings in the bumpers and there's a hole in the left (passenger side) floor pan. The hood has a spot of rust and there are bubbles under the paint. The hood badge is missing. As you can see from the photographs, the paint is peeling near the license plate lamp. The taillight lenses were broken, two new replacements are included in the sale. However, the license plate light lamp is missing. The soft top fabric is in great shape. There are two fasteners that need to be retightened. The vybak windows are a bit opaque due to time and wear, they can be replaced by an upholsterer. There is also a cockpit cover. The tubular frame is in very good condition. The wheels and hubcaps are all original. All 5 tires are new. All interior is as it was in 1966, save the aftermarket radio and speakers, installed in the 80's. The engine is all original. It should not take much to get the engine running; currently the engine cranks. The brakes will need to be gone through, the rear disc brakes are in the trunk. The transmission, clutch seem to be fine, the exhaust pipe is included but is not currently affixed to the car. As with any barn find, the sale is AS IS. I am happy to take more pictures for interested buyers. Please note: the car is listed for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction at any time. This car is a once in a lifetime find so there is a reserve I will not take a penny less.
This car is located in Woodbridge Virginia 22191. I am happy to work with U.S. or overseas shipping. Ill take cash, bank check, and PayPal for which the buyer pays the 4% fee.
