Car description |
---|
For sale is a 1984 VW Vanagon Camper. This is a strong running Camper and starts right up even after sitting for several weeks. The interior presents well with Tommy Bahama seat covers and matching curtains complemented by new laminate wood flooring. The camper top exterior was treated to a new coat of white "marine deck" paint and is in good condition, ncluding new roof gaskets. The camper canvas is in good condition although there are a few small holes that could be easily repaired if the new owner possessed the sewing skills I so greatly lack. The stove works off propane and the refrigerator works off propane intermittently. It probably could be easily fixed if someone took the time to track down the issue. A new propane tank was installed, s the original was probably well past it's service life. The water pump runs when the faucet is turned on. The odometer recently stopped working and shows 188,000 miles.
The exterior of the Camper was recently repainted and looks good from about 10 feet. The previous owner was "creative" to be kind, nd the paint job we undertook was primarily to undo the damage that individual caused. There is panel damage on the passenger rear quarter panel, ut it didn't impact the frame and adds to the "character" of the Camper. This Camper's pluses far outweigh its minuses and will make for a great road companion for years to come. The engine was recently serviced and is now very reliable and mechanically sound.
