We are selling a 1984 Volkswagen Westfalia Vanagon Camper is in very good condition. The outside is painted blue, with a deep red stripe all around the body. Brand new skylight/vent just installed from GoWesty. Has new tires. New side camper hookups. Front and side window seals replaced. Original tent (front screen zipper needs repair, outer zipper still works fine).
Engine was completely rebuilt at 99,949 miles along with a new radiator, new clutch, muffler, and shocks. It also had new front brakes, fuel filter, and more.
Since then, we have put approximately 22,000 additional miles on the van. This is a beauty. Front seats were reupholstered and look like new. The car has been housed under a canopy for the past 11 years. It has been maintained with regular oil changes and routine maintenance by a qualified VW Mechanic. The stove and sink work. The refrigerator does not (we just use it as a cabinet). Instrument cluster installed with odometer reading of 91,149 miles in April of 2010. New, high quality Kenwood stereo system with front and rear speakers, USB to mobile devices, and remote control.
We can provide additional photos on request.
Things that don't work: front defroster fan, but it has not been a problem because when the engine is warm, it defrosts the window naturally by warm air flowing out of the vents. Refrigerator as mentioned above. Additional information: rear heater fan works great. Two small rust areas around side window and front window.
Recently replaced clutchslave cylinder and had oil change. Front passenger seat swivels around for more space. Interior fluorescentlight.
