This breathtaking vehicle comes in a bright red paint job complimented by a clean black interior and matching convertible top. The convertible top is in good condition and functions as it should. As such the vehicle has always been properly maintained and stored. Some of the maintenance includes a new exhaust, new carburetor, new brake master cylinder and more. So, if you're in the market for an original piece of American muscle you can't go wrong with a Pontiac Firebird! Please call or email us today for more information.
The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile built by Pontiac from the 1967 to the 2002 model years. Designed as a muscle car to compete with the Mercury Cougar and Dodge Challenger, it was introduced February 23, 1967, the same model year as GM's Chevrolet division platform-sharing Camaro. The first generation Firebird had characteristic Coke bottle styling shared with its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. Announcing a Pontiac styling trend, the Firebird's bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end, giving it a more streamlined look than the Camaro. The Firebird's rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the 1966–1967 Pontiac GTO.
