GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this absolutely immaculate 1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. This breathtaking vehicle comes in a brilliant black paint job complimented by a clean white interior. Powering this iconic vehicle is the original 400ci V8 motor mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. This Pontiac has had a new paint job in the last ten years, full motor rebuilt by Dan Cook Racing with less than 2,000 miles on the motor now. The top and top motors have been replaced as well. This vehicle comes to us from a private automotive collection. As such the vehicle has always been properly maintained and stored. So, if you're in the market for a stunning piece of American muscle you can't go wrong with a Pontiac Firebird! Please call or email us today for more information.
The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile built by Pontiac from 1967 to the 2002 model years. Designed as a muscle car to compete with the Mercury Cougar and Dodge Challenger, it was introduced on February 23, 1967, the same model year as GM's Chevrolet division platform-sharing Camaro. The first generation Firebird had characteristic Coke bottle styling shared with its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. Announcing a Pontiac styling trend, the Firebird's bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end, giving it a more streamlined look than the Camaro. The Firebird's rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the 1966–1967 Pontiac GTO.
