This 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass is a terrific mix of vintage and new. After all, you have a distinctive Holiday Hardtop look and some outstanding paperwork. But it also has been expertly upgraded to give you a full midnight appearance, custom A/C interior, and a great driving attitude.
This Cutlass might have been intermediate-sized, but it was built to own the road. The extra wide grille, spaced-out headlights, and extended fender tips front and rear make this one imposing figure. And of course, it doesn't hurt this commanding stance that this is painted in a sleek and deep black. But more than just a bold presence, you love a classic Oldsmobile for its design. The well-done paint helps bring out the crisp lines of this car. Plus, they always have a nice hint of sophistication, like how well the chrome king bumpers almost seamlessly integrate into the sheetmetal. And the rocker trim seems to connect to the ends with an almost seamless look as it run down the car and arches over the wheel wells. And the polished torque thrust-style wheels add to both the shine and imposing nature of this coupe.
The full black appearance continues inside, and you can also tell there has been an investment in quality. The seats are a custom look with suede-like inserts and attractive red stitching. The leather-wrapped dash has also been done to match. The suede-like headliner, newer carpeting, cup holder console, and upgraded AM/FM stereo all make this quite inviting for family and friends to spend some time. They even stay cool with modern R134a air conditioning. Plus, with the Grant GT sports steering wheel and auxiliary gauge trio, you can tell that this hardtop was built to be a driver's machine.
Under the hood is the golden glowing block of a proper Oldsmobile V8. While this one has the cool Jetfire air topper, it actually has been upgraded later in life to a 350 cubic-inch unit. It also has a Holley four-barrel carburetor, HEI ignition, MSD plug wires, and a sweet-sounding dual exhaust. The result is a strong-running coupe that's great for driving. In fact, it really feels quite nice out on the road thanks to everything from newer bushings to a smooth-shifting three-speed automatic transmission. Add in power steering, power brakes with front discs, and wide BF Goodrich T/A tires, and it's always an easy choice to take this one out on the road.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker, Protect-o-Plate warranty card, and hand-written service log for the first 14 years. This Olds is ready to standout in a crowd, but it won't wait long, call today!
