We call this 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass a 442 tribute, but really it's much more. Not only does it have a proper 455 cubic-inch V8, but also it has been upgraded for extra power. Plus, you have a custom A/C interior, overdrive transmission, extra-sleek exterior, and more. So really, this is the most impressive Olds you can get your hand on right now.
With the fastback profile and chrome bumpers that were integrated into the design so well, this is arguably the best design to come from Detroit. Add in a professional application of high gloss red, and this Olds can't help but draw a crowd. And we really love the fully coordinated dark side. It starts with a blackout around the headlights and the grille. Dark racing stripes running over the top always looks sporty, and these even draw attention to the dual scoops in the hood. The full-length side stipe package not only shows off the flared fenders, but also the upgraded Boss 20-inch black alloys. Even the windows are tinted. It's a total package that deliver a level of muscle car aggressiveness that goes above and beyond even a factory 442.
Inside interior continues this same color coordination, but now the black is dominant, and the red is used for accenting. You especially see it on the upgraded front bucket seats where the contrasting red stitching showcase comfortable modern bolstering. The rear seats, door panels, and dash all showcase a similar custom style for an attractive total appearance. Plus, the custom center console has a nice red streak that matches the dash and gauge surrounds to deliver a thought and uniform interior. This has modern upgrades for comfort, like cold-blowing R134a air conditioning, an alarm system w/power locking, and an AM/FM/CD/DVD interface with Bluetooth and a subwoofer stereo system. Plus, it's built to be a true driver's machine with a grippy sports steering wheel, handy auxiliary gauges, and a Hurst Pro-Matic shifter.
The Olds 455 cubic-inch V8 is a terrific big block motor. These V8 came directly from Oldsmobile, and they had a reputation for building some of the hardiest V8 around. It's what made the 442s of this generation real street kings, and so it's great to have one under the hood here, too. You can tell by the tidy presentation that they made a solid investment in this big block. Plus, with a four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake, it knows how to produce serious power. The 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit that can handle this muscle, and as true driver's coupe, it also delivers overdrive comfort. Add in power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and (thanks to the wheel upgrade) modern grippy tires this is a solid street machine.
When you demand sleek looks, big power, and the best creature comforts, you know nothing else but this upgraded Olds will do. Call today!!!
