1986 ASC McLaren Convertible Mercury Capri

For Sale: 1986 Mercury Capri ASC McLaren edition with 72,517 original miles. This is a very rare car only 557 ASC McLaren convertibles were made between 1984-1986. Car runs strong, shifts great (5 speed), and everything works. It does have air conditioning, but it is not very cold and needs to be charged. Power windows, power front disc brakes, power steering, manual top, and all the ASC options including Recaro bucket seats, built in radar detector, stereo, etcetera. The only issue with the body is a small broken piece from the front air dam - I have the piece in the trunk and it can be repaired. Also, the motor that locks the top in the back needs to be replaced, but it is on order and will come with the sale. Floors and undercarriage are clean. Only modifications are the 75MM throttle body, trick flow intake, and cat back dynaflow exhaust.
I also ordered a Marti report that will come with the sale once I receive it. I also have the auto check report. Shows no accidents. The only issue it shows is "exceeds mechanical limits" when the car was sold at auction in 1995. The odometer works, the mileage is accurate, and the mileage history shown in the last photo supports the original miles. Shoot me your email and I will provide a copy of the report.
