1966 Mercedes Benz 230S

I am offering this 1966 Mercedes 230S for sale complete or in parts. I recently acquired it from the original owner and have not retitled it. Thus it is accompanied by the original California "pink slip" title certificate. The car has the original black license plates last stickered in 1987. I have too many projects and can not give this car the attention necessary to put it in running condition. While I have not started the car. it appears to be operable after fluids were replaced and cylinders oiled. The tires on the car cannot be used and I intend to install used tires to make the car movable. The car was parked and never sold by its elderly owner because she is quite certain that her engagement ring is somewhere in the interior of the car. It ran until it was parked. I have only done a cursory look for the ring but have promised the owner that I would give a more concerted look. This will require removal of the carpets and seats. Under the hood the car looks especially good. It is a twin carb model and all parts are there. There is no detectable body damage from impact and only minor surface rust on one side of the body. The only missing parts are the radiator star and the hubcaps which I am still looking for. I have shown a price I would accept for the car as it stands or if sufficient interest is shown. I will consider parting the car out. In either case the buyer will be responsible for shipping or transportation costs. Since I have not operated the car.
