Car description |

This 1966 Mercedes-Benz 230S has been in the same family since 1969. Because this is the European model of this car, not the American model, this is an extremely rare find in the US market, particularly in such outstanding condition. The car was recently imported to the United States and the sellers have all the documentation related to the importation.
This beautiful car has been flawlessly cared for over the years, with regular maintenance having been performed and very few miles driven. As a result it still drives fabulously. The exterior paint, interior leather and all engine and interior components are originals.
The exterior is a beautiful deep maroon, the interior leather is a perfectly maintained tan, and the exterior chrome is impeccable. The car comes with the original owner manuals. The car features its original engine and has 74,500 kilometers. Note: Because this model of car came directly from Germany and wasn't marketed in the United States, the vehicle doesn't have a US VIN. The number shown above as the VIN is the serial number of the motor. Additionally, the serial number of the chassis is 11101010088993.
