1983 Rx-7 GSL. I have had this car for a couple of years and only put a couple of hundred miles on it in that time. When I purchased the car it had the original 12a motor in it and both rotors had really low compression. I replaced it with a used 12a that has good compression. The car starts and runs good. It doesn't smoke at all. It has a stripped Nikki carb on it (the choke is still there and works) and the emissions have been deleted. The axle also has fresh oil in it (less than 50 miles since changing it) The exhaust has a header on it that goes to an open pipe so it is somewhat loud.A year and a half ago I spent $246 having the car aligned and will provide that receipt with the sale. The car also has the following new parts with less than 100 miles: new front struts, new tie rod ends (both inner and outer are new), new ball joints, new motor mounts, and all new poly bushings on the front. Despite the alignment and all new front end parts, the car still has a lot of play in the steering. Everything on the car works except the AC (I removed the compressor when I changed the old 12a out and never hooked the AC components back up) and the rear wiper assembly doesn't work. The hatch struts work sometimes (when they decide to). The power windows go down fairly ok,the drivers side comes back up fine, but the passenger side comesback up very slowly. The car has four new Sony speakers in it, but I removed my cd player- the wires are all there freshly ran for any cd player to be installed. The car does have some minimal rust that I have taken photos of. It does not have the rear wheel well rust that is typical with these cars. The rust is confined to the rear fenders (as shown in the photos) and some slight rust along the bottom of the doors. The front drivers side fender has a dent in it as shown in the photos. The paint on the hood, bumpers, and roof is bad, but the paint everywhere else is ok. It does have the typical dents and dings that go along with a car this age. However, the interior is really nice for a car of this age (other than the rips on the sides of the passenger seat. The seats in the car are from a 1980 GS, but match perfectly and look great in the car. When I bought it the original seats were destroyed so they had to go.The transmission pan does leak fluid. I think the pan is slightly warped, but I am not 100% sure of it. I have tried to describe the car as best I can and tried to photograph most of the car. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask or if you want any other photos of something specific feel free to ask. Please do not bid on the car if you won't really pay or don't have the money to do so. Paypal accepted. Thanks, Todd
