If you place value on the collectability of a vehicle, having the first of a series or the last of a series matters. After remaining in production through several corporate parents, over 45 years, with model numbers starting with CJ1 and continuing through CJ7, this 1986 is the last of the CJ line. And it's a nice one. Check it out. Original paint is another desirable feature, and this one has just had a fresh respray in... the original, P1 "Classic Black". Some first-class Blue vinyl was laid on with 'Renegade' appearing on the hood. A Runck front bumper keeps the trees at bay and protects the fenders along with that pretty chrome grill when you take it off road. Factory headlights provides great visibility on the darkest night, and an extra set of KC lights add to the show. Rock guards along the running boards offer both protection and a step up into the cab. The back-bumper hoops offer a splash of chrome with a trailer ball mounted on the drop-down center section between them for towing. A full-sized spare tire is mounted on a swing away bracket to offer access to the rear. The removable hardtop fits well, looks great, and offers comfortable 4 season use as well as lockable security for anything inside. For summertime fun, go ahead and pull the hardtop off and put the bikini top that also comes with it on. Open the door and you will find a completely stock interior that is also the correct 1EB Black that it was delivered in from the factory. The original three-spoke steering wheel has been wrapped with a leather cover and the shifters for the manual transmission as well as the transfer case rise from the floor. The center panes holds the speedometer which reflects the actual and correct mileage on this CJ of only 65,470 miles. The high back buckets have been recently recovered, look great, and are both comfortable and supportive with pleated seating surfaces and smooth side bolsters. Between them is a new Tuffy lockable console with the stereo system and amp located inside it. Just behind the front seats you will find Kicker speakers mounted to the roll bar and behind the back seat is a Kicker sub for your listening pleasure. BesTop floor mats protect the floor and are easily removed for cleaning. Pop the hood and you will find the tried and true 258 cubic inch in-line 6-cylinder motor nestled down in the engine bay. It is completely stock except for the carburetor which has been replaced with a Weber. Signs of good regular maintenance are evident with newer hoses, belts, plugs, cap and wires as well as a fresh battery. Power flows back through a 4-speed manual transmission and the transfer case to solid axles front and rear mounted on leaf springs outfitted with a fresh set of shocks. The brakes have been completely serviced up with ventilated discs in the front assuring good stopping ability. There are new wheels and tires all around which also includes the spare. They are 32X11.50R15 BFGoodrich T/As mounted on sharp looking Pacer alloy wheels with chrome centers. This was the last of the CJ line of Jeeps. It is a low mileage example in the factory correct color and it could be yours. Come on down and check it out.
