Car description

Do you ever want to go explore the road less traveled? Head down a dirt road out in the woods, or explore the outer reaches of a park system? Then this CJ7 might be the vehicle you need. It can take you to work during the week, and take you as far away from it as possible on the weekend.
You probably noticed from the picture, that this Jeep sits a little higher than usual. Some would say that is how a Jeep is supposed to sit. That look is all a result of the upgrade to Dick Cepek wheels and Wild Country tires. Looks great, doesn't it? The look gets even better with the heavy duty black front bumper with tow hooks, and a chrome grill which stands tall and adds a splash of flash to the front. Tri-tone blue striping goes great with the silver paint, dressing up the hood, spilling over the fenders and running down the rockers. The rear bumper is also heavy duty, with tow hooks, and a receiver in case you want to trailer an extra toy of some sort with you. The soft top is in good condition when you want to keep the weather out, but of course, you can drop that down and remove the doors for fun in the sun, on or off road.
Climb inside and you will find Jeep simplicity at its best. You can see everything around you if you are in traffic, and that beefy Grant GT steering wheel feels good in your hands. There are shifters for the manual transmission, and 4WD in the floor. The dash is simple with a little button for the horn, and pull knobs for lights, wipers, heat, defrost and fan. The tach is directly in front of the driver with the speedo, fuel (which also means this was real Renegade), and temperature gauges off toward the center. An aftermarket radio/CD player provides the tunes, and your passenger gets a grab handle to hang on to at need. Between the front buckets is a nice big, lockable, center console with lots of places to stash things and cup holders for everyone. The roll bar is padded so you won't bump your head climbing in, or bumping around off road. There is some storage room behind the back seat perfect for a cooler that can be accessed from inside, or by dropping the tailgate.
Pop the hood, (as long as you don't have the windshield folded forward onto it), and you will find the tried and true 4.2 Liter 6-cylinder engine. This motor runs like a top! Everything looks clean and there are signs of regular maintenance evident with a fresh-looking battery and tune up items like cap, wires and plugs. Power steering is a nice feature with those bigger tires, and an Edelbrock air filter housing makes it easy to change the element. A 5-speed transmission gets the power distributed, of course with the option of high or low range through the transfer case, and there are nice skid plates protecting the oil pan, transmission and fuel tank from damage. But those things are already off the ground a bit thanks to the 33X12.50R15 tires on those Dick Cepek wheels, so go ahead, play rough if you want to.
Come on down and see if this is the vehicle you have been looking for to get you around town in style, or to help you achieve escape velocity.
