This scout came originally equipped with a 304 V8 Engine, Automatic Transmission, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, and Deluxe Red trimmed interior and Deluxe Exterior package with bright trim moldings and was originally painted in 9120 Alpine White.

2 Speed Dana Transfer case with high and low ranges

Dana 44 rear axle believed to have 3.54 gear ratio

Upgraded to Dana 44 front axle with Disk Brakes, tag reads 3.54 gear ratio

Manual locking hubs

Fully removable steel hardtop with factory roof rack. Top has new 2 stage exterior paint in Alpine White. (old headliner was removed)

Custom made red exterior aftermarket graphic made by Scoutco LLC.

New paint - Body exterior had lenses, emblems, trim removed before paint and was sanded down. Exterior was primed with catalyzed primer surfacer and guidecoated, then it was block sanded by hand. PPG code 9120 Alpine white basecoat was applied, followed by multiple coats of catalyzed urethane clear. Paint was polished with 1500 grit sandpaper and buffed. (Color code is 'correct' for the Scout)

Solid Body. Steel on frame looked very solid when I looked. Frame # stamp intact and matches VIN.

Original emblems and trim were removed, cleaned, painted, and reinstalled.

Chrome front bumper. Steel step bumper on rear.

Fuel tank was removed from the truck and was cleaned out and repainted black. The Sending unit and rubber fill tube were replaced new.

Fuel pump is a replacement unit.
Battery is new.
Brake master cylinder was replaced with a remanufactured unit and Proportioning valve is a new replacement.

NEW INTERIOR: Interior seat upholstery is new. Front bucket seats were reupholstered in red, to mimic the original red seat color. Red upholstered front door interior panels are the factory originals and do not have any rips. Door armrests are factory originals and do not have rips. Interior has new red carpet from tailgate to driver and passenger compartment. Original floor material was red vinyl in the front.

ALL GLASS CRACK FREE, windows roll up and down, doors shut fine,tailgate opens and closes and operates with the center button.

This Scout was stored from approximately 2001 until 2020. I have driven the Scout on private property at low speeds and not on the roadsI have tested high and low range on the transer case, which operates. Transmission worked in forward and reverse when tested/driven.
It will need to have the tires replaced as they are aged. Weatherstrip was not replaced. New owner will still have some finishing work to complete, based on their driving goals and personal tastes for the vehicle.
