Car description |
---|
1957 International S100. S series was produced through April of 57 before the switch to the A series body style. Straight six with 3 speed on the tree. Newer Brakes, transmission and generator rebuilt this year. She runs well and my husband has been driving her to work the last few days and we took her out to sonic over the weekend (she always gets lots of attention).
My dad loved International trucks and bought several to play with over the years. He gave one to each of us (kids) before he passed over a year ago. He called this truck "Alta" after its original owner who sold to him many years ago. (Note: Alta was a lady who drove the truck on a rural postal route in North Arkansas for several years, the original color was the International pink and cream but dad changed it to the current brown and cream). As much as I would like to keep her, I just don't have the time to drive her and maintain her in good shape. I know my dad would hate to see her just sitting so I want to find a good home for her.
Alta is being sold AS IS. No warranty expressed or implied. She's an old girl with obvious wear and possibly some issues I don't even know about so please schedule a visit to look at her in person within 7 days of an accepted offer.
Local pick up only. Truck is for sale locally as well.
