I'm selling my dad's 1957 International Pickup. My dad loved Internationals and had a few over the years. He gave each of his kids one before he passed. I'd love to keep her (Alta) but just don't have the time to drive her and keep her maintained. She's a good old girl that has been in the family for a long time and I would like to find her a good home. She does have a few dents, scrapes and scratches that I tried to show in the pictures. She runs well and we had her tuned up and new gaskets put on the carburetor in the fall.
Based on what I've been told, my dad was the second owner and bought her in the early to mid 80's. The original owner was a postmistress and drove her on routes in rural Arkansas. Family legend has it that a famous race car driver was a relative of the postmistress and actually went for a ride in Alta once...but who knows if that's true or not ;)
Alta is being sold AS IS with no warranty, so please inspect in person within ten days of purchase and before sending funds. Deposit will be fully refunded if you decide not to purchase. Buyer is responsible for picking her up or paying for transport. I have used and can recommend a local transport company with fair prices that we used to transport another old truck.
Thanks for looking and please message if you have any questions or would like to MAKE AN OFFER.
