Car description |
---|
Completely restored 1957 International S-110 (heavy half-ton) pick-up. Long bed. 4 speed transmission.
Spare tire racks (correct style) on both sides of the bed.
Restoration took nearly 8 years, for complete disassembly, rebuild of components and reassembly. Paint by Martin Custom Auto Body, Waltonville, Il. Finished in August 2018.
Only driven about 100 miles, or less, since restoration for shake-down and the swingaround the block to keep it lubed.
Complete attention to detail, including: Rebuilt original AM radio and speaker box. Springs recurved and treated. Emergency brake (fly wheel binder) relined. Drive shaft and yokes rebuilt and balanced. Steering box rebuilt and column re-bushed. Steering wheel professionally restored by specialty shop. Gauges have new glass and markings. (the odometer reads 10728.6, but that was left where it was prior to restoration)
Many spare parts, and serviceable parts. But wait! There's more! A spare Black Diamond Six engine and transmission!
This truck must be seen and driven to appreciate how it looks "right off the showroom", and drives like a new truck. The paint finish is better than original factory.
