Car description

This is an extremely rare car, ou won't see another one like it as it is a 1 of 1 car verified by the Marti Report. 1 of 15 with the paint/trim code and only 419 with shaker hood scoop. It is in Driver condition and has minor flaws as any 45 year old car will have. The car was already painted when I bought it and is a close match to Dark Green Ivy metallic but not exact. It does have a few paint bubbles down low but nothing major. The engine is period correct and has a 70's era service block as to the best of my knowledge. It was originally a 2-barrel carb and I changed it to a 4 bbl Autolite for better performance. The Shaker assembly is in working condition and is a very rare and expensive piece on this car(about $4,000) The front floorpans have been replaced as they had pinholes in them, he rears were fine. The Interior is in like new condition with new seat covers done in ginger vinyl and houndstooth cloth, ashpad has been replaced and door panels are original. New weatherstripping was recently installed and also new rear leafsprings. I have won many awards with the car including Carlisle Ford Nationals. The reason I am selling it is I have two other mustangs and it is getting a little too much for me to handle on my own. I would like to see it go to someone who would enjoy it and take care of it as it is a special car.I do not know a lot of history on it but I will tell you what I know.I bought it off a dealer in Detroit about 13 years ago who got it from down south(Florida) and was originally sold in New Orleans.Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and quotes are available on this site. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING THE CAR. If you are the winning bidder I require a $1,000 deposit. NOTE: The car is sold as is with no warranty and is for sale locally also.
