This 1967 Ford Mustang likes to do everything a little bit extra. There's extra power in the V8, some extra shine in the paint, and some extra comfort in the restored A/C interior. It all makes for a classic coupe worth your extra attention.
The white paint was an upgrade later in life, and was even given an added pearlescent glow for added appeal in the sunshine. The chrome bumpers look newer, and so they add to the luster. And a black vinyl roof is always a nice classic premium touch. The overall effect is a car that looks good, but it's far from being so precious that you'll be afraid to drive this coupe...and that's exactly the right tone for this one. After all, the design of the '67 cars were given a nice upgrade in aggression with a longer overhang front & rear, a bolder side C-channel, and this one's optional deluxe hood. So that seems like the exact right kind of car that earns the added sportiness of the racing-style Cragar wheels. And did you notice the quad exhaust tips and rear fender vent trim? It's all part of a little added performance style that this one likes to show off.
We love it when the roof color is also the preview of the interior color. This was given a restoration in the last few years, and the newer seats and newer carpeting really make this feel good. You even have a custom cup holder center console made from glossy wood that's both useful and adds some color to the darkness. This one has more handy upgrades like an AM/FM/CD/XM stereo that has an aux input for your iPod, and the air conditioning is blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. Plus, beyond the wood-rimmed steering wheel is a crisp and clear set of AutoMeter Phantom gauges with large speedo and tach. So you know there's something nice under the hood.
Ford's 302 cubic-inch motor looks good in the engine bay. The consignor states this is a fresher Jasper crate motor that was installed around 2013. It's a strong powerhouse that inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor. The long tube headers add power while letting this one exhale with added authority from the dual exhaust. You'll also see the right supporting components, like an MSD distributor, MSD coil, and an aluminum radiator. It's the kind of coupe you're going to want to take everywhere. That's why it also comes with nice driving features, like power steering, power brakes, and front discs. The three-speed automatic transmission was even rebuilt around the same time as the motor was installed.
This Mustang has plenty of the little extras that make it irresistible... and it won't even cost you extra. So don't miss this coupe. Call today!!!
