Car description |
---|
I've been seduced by a new project car, and i'm willing to let my coyote swapped autox notch go.
Car comes with two drivers seats, one FloFit for comfort and one Sparco fixed for racing. Car comes with two sets of wheels and tires, one for street and one for racing. Street wheels are 18x10 XXR 521 with cheap tires. Racing wheels are Konig Dekagram 18x9.5 with RE71.
Car weighs 3030lbs with 430 bhp @ 7000rpm. That's the same weight to power ratio as a Nissan GTR at 7.0 lbs/hp. Make no mistake, the car is an animal to drive. Absolutely do not recommend for even the average driver. Aggressive or sloppy clutch in the 1-2 shift and it will spin past 60mph. On slick pavement it will spin in 2nd at 50mph by just rolling on the throttle.
Engine bay is shaved with Scott Rod panels. Wiring tucked into inner fender well. Firewall coated in Lizard Skin ceramic heat barrier. Front frame rails filled with cavity wax. Absolutely no rust in the car, and never been in an accident. The only thing cut in the car is the front spat to accommodate the wide wheels which have been moved up by 3/4" due to the MM suspension.
11 lbs taken out of the original hood. Heat extractor and Aerocatch latches used. Front fiberglass bumper has swiss cheese treatment to lose weight.
The first and only foxbody to attend a Driving While Awesome rally and one of a handful of foxbodies to appear on Speedhunters.
The original blower motor/HVAC controls are intact in the dash, but the heater hoses are not connected and there are no ac components.
Suspension tuned by Jack Hidley at MM. The car typically places midpack with the ZO6's at the autocross. Usually top 30 raw time out of 120+ entries.
There are some small issues with the car. Basically TLC items that I haven't had time to address. Contact me for a full list.
