1928 Ford Model AA Stakebed Truck This is a mostly original truck. It was brush painted a long time ago and buffed out. Now after many years. the brush marks are starting to show. 1928 was the only year with the red steering wheel and the park brake on the left side of the cab by the door. This truck has a factory installed P. T. O. The story on it is that the Amish had it on blocks in a barn. Using the P. T. O to run a lift to raise hay up to the loft. It was purchased in Pennsylvania years ago and taken to Florida where the turn signals and marker lights were added so it could legally be driven on Florida roads. This truck runs and drives as good as a stake bed truck possibly could. It still has the original ignition switch and key. The switch can be a little finicky at times. Meaning that you may have to wiggle it a little to get it to go in the "on" position. All the glass is good on this truck and the interior is in great shape. There is a little rust in the fenders down by the running boards. Everything else is solid. The bed on this truck is in great shape. All the wood is solid and do not need replaced. All the panels lock into one another once on the bed and can be taken off. You can just take off a couple panels or you can take them all off to use as a flat bed. Over-all. this truck has survived nicely. It can still be used as it was intended too 87 years ago. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time for any reason. Thanks for looking and God Bless!
