Here we have a true barn find. This is a 1928 Ford model a truck, in tag 79a, hich was aoriginal soft top truck. This truck was purchased new in 1928 by a farmer in Kentucky to be used to carry apples on his farm. The truck was used for farm use until 1955. It was then parked in a barn for 55 years! The owner came to pass, nd the family was pulling everything out to sell. This truck finally got to see the light again! The truck is original, ooks like it was fixed just to keep going to pick up more apples. The top was replaced at some point with a hard top, omebody just madetheir self. After some new parts and some cleaning the original motor fired up. The truck runs and drives fine as is. The front windshield is good, hedriver sidewindow is good, hepassenger side window is broken, ts there, ut was repaired with wood and will not go down. The rear window is broken, ut as stated it is not original to the truck. Put new tires on the truck, nd greased all the points. I built a small bench seat for it and placed it in the truck, he seat that was in it didnt fit the best, ut will be included in the sale. This truck is the perfectcandidate for the hot rod you have been looking to build, r restore and bring it back to its former glory! Either way you will have a cool old truck from the past! The lettering on the doors was done recently, ivinggratitude to the trucks past history. The truck has the original plate from Kentucky, ated 1928, umber 21. It also has the 1955 farm use sticker on the window for the last year it was used. This is a very cool old truck ready for you to transform it into whatever you want to build! They are getting very rare to find,at least ones thataren'tchopped up or that are in pieces. The truck does have some rust, o rot. Frame is good, enders are decent, oors are good (small rust on passenger door), ear fenders are there, o not appear to be original tho. The cab is good, loor is good, ut as stated, he top is not original, t was added at some point in its life. This will be a no reserve auction!
