1964 1/2 MUSTANGThis is a rare. early production model convertible with all the unique characteristics of the 64 1/2. I have personally owned for 35 years. Always garage kept. n the mid 90s. it was restored and not driven on the street since. It retains 95% of the original date coded sheet metal. It features the original 289 4 barrel D code engine. as well as the original 4 speed Top loader. and 8 inch rear end. The motor cranks right up and idles smoothly with no smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly and accelerates quickly. It also has power drum brakes and power steering. turning and stopping on a dime! It was also converted to a alternator for reliability. but the original generator and wiring harness is still with the car. The interior has been completely replaced. as well as the top. and tonneau cover. The power top functions properly and smoothly. It has new Redline radial tires on style steel rims. The dual exhaust has flowmasters exiting through the rear valance with trumpet tips.
