1986 Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible 5-Speed ManualNew Paint and decals last yearNew Soft Top last yearNew Battery last monthNever Not Raced or ModifiedKept in as near original condition as possible... New "OEM" exhaust, Radiator -- Mechanic thought I would like an "upgrade" he had on hand...
Flaws:Heater Core is bypassed (i.e. used as a summer, warm weather car)Rear "flag" windows down -- motors and mechanism rebuilt last year -- switch was intermittent -- no time to replace now.
Make no mistake, this car runs well -- first turn of the key, and I love it. The Low starting and Buy it Now price is for a reason:
I'm selling because I'm retiring from the Navy after 31 years and I've owned this car since 2001 -- it was my Dad's "ice cream" car that he loved... I refurbished it last year to take him on a victory lap of NH, but lost him before we could take the trip. Moving in the next few weeks and need to part with it...asap. BTW -- spent $9K on the Paint and Top last year...
Feel free to ask any questions...
