Car description |
---|
Due to some obligations, I need to sell sell my rare 1985.5 Mustang SVO. They only made 439 of the 1985.5 SVO's. They were the first SVO's to have the flush headlights they also had the highest horsepower ratings of any SVO model year making them the model to have. This car was manufactured in July of 1985, 85.5 production started in March of 1985.
I bought this car in 2007 and had plans to just maintain it and enjoy it but a divorce and the expenses that go along with that changed things. When I came across this car, I appreciated that it was mostly intact and the things that had been changed would not be too hard to return to the stock set up. The other things I liked about the car is that it didn't have a sunroof or leather seats which are huge pluses if you live where it's hot.
This project car will not take too much to finish and will only continue to appreciate in value. People are just now starting to appreciate how ahead of their time these cars really were. Do your research and you'll be impresssed by how performance oriented these SVO's really were.
