This is an unique Mustang, which is why we bought it. However, we haven't had the time to enjoy it the way it should be, so instead of letting it sit and collect dust in the shop, we would rather sell it and let someone else enjoy it! There is a lot of info about the car that is unknown and it has a story but for the ad, we will just tell you what it is.
Interior:Dash is a false dash with aftermarket gauges. Original dash is still behind itInterior is basic2 old school race buckets5 point harnessesOriginal steering wheel was modified for quick release on the column
Exterior:The car has always been a southern car, so never had any rust issuesDoors, quarter panels, and fenders are all original steelAll glass/windows is all there and side windows roll up and downBody is straight and rust freeAftermarket fiberglass cowl induction hoodShelby style fiberglass decklidShelby style quarter extensionsBumpers are aftermarket fiberglassHeadlights, taillights, turn signals all work
Drivetrain:
Date Coded1964 427 FE Block(I dont have all the info on the motor because it was done prior and haven't opened it up,but it has a lot of good stuff in it- call for explanation)We can give all the casting numbers and date codes, but don't really know everything. At one point in time this was a really expensive motor buildMotor starts and runs greatSounds awesome
C6 transmissionFull Chris Alston chassis with 12 point cageAll adjustable coil over independent front suspensionwith lightweight Wilwood disc brakes and spindlesRear end is a Ford 9" drum brake with adjustable coil over suspensionDual fuel pumps and15 gallon cellWiring in the car is extremely simple and clean. Someone did a nice job with it.
This is a really cool and different car to begin with, and obviously having an iconic 427 motor with all it's impressive parts, is very desirable. This car isn't pristine, but is straight and solid. I wouldn't go hit the track with it either and risk either wrecking it or blowing the motor in it. It has the components needed to be street legal. There is just so much on this car to go through but it is just easier to answer questions and explain things on the phone. It is a great conversation piece and would be great to take to shows as is. The car runs awesome, sounds great, and draws attention everywhere it goes. Perfect time to buy! The weather is getting nice and the car shows are starting up! Buy this car to go have some fun, and enjoy!
Please contact me with any questions you might have. 253-377-2266 Thanks Brad
