This Sportroof Mustang is not a true Mach 1. The previous owner had the car painted and badged as a Mach 1 years ago. I have owned this Mustang for 3 years and it was purchased from the original owner's family. The car sat garaged for 20+ years prior to my possession and has always been garaged during my ownership. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to give this Mustang the attention it needs. An upcoming transfer makes me realize it will be increasingly difficult to complete what I would like to do. It would make a great father-son project for anyone wanting to own a classic '69 Mustang Fastback.
Looking at the pictures you can see the issues. Both doors have rust, other areas on the body will need attention, the front windshield is cracked, there are paint chips, and the dashboard has a crack. The car runs and drives but has been driven infrequently over the past years and will need to be trailered to its new home. Due to minimal use, some seals have leaks and may need to be replaced. It needs a new radiator and some fine tuning before it can being totally road worthy. The engine is not original and is a 302 roller motor. New brakes were done when I first acquired it and have minimal miles on them. I have paperwork and receipts for some of the work that has been done to it over the years. Overall, this can be a great driver-quality muscle car with a solid foundation for anyone looking to own a one of the most desirable Fastback Mustangs ever produced. I am not a mechanic or body man but I will do the best to answer questions and provide pictures. The car is sold as is with a no return policy. You can contact me with questions between 6pm-8pm M-F, and during the day on weekends (810) 599 0315. My name is Jon. I have placed a reasonable starting bid with a realistic reserve. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
