This 1966 mustang was a "Barn find" that I purchased to resell. It looks like the former owner's husband did an extensive refurbishing. Currently equipped with a V8 - 289 4V engine, wide ratio 4 speed and locking differential. It also has the GT package including - heavy duty suspension, larger sway bar, fog lites, GT gas cap, instrument cluster, glove box door, GT badges, Mustang letters with strip kit, disc brakes and dual exhaust with all the correct reinforcements and brackets. Other options include - 2 speed wiper, drivers adjustable mirror, console, Rally pac, power steering, wood grain steering wheel, Reverse lights, 4 ways flashers and even the original jack and ratching style lug wrench. There are over $10,000 in new parts in this vehicle - including: Dual exhaust, Radiator, Export brace, Brake and fuel lines, rear emergency cables, seat upholstery, door panel, carpet, dash pad, headliner, outside door handles, fold down chrome, rear interior quarter panels, chrome dress up kit, rebuild 4 speed, exterior sheet metal and most of the weatherstrip seals. There were front torque boxes added to the front frame rails to add strength to the body and the bottom of the vehicle and the engine compartment were cleaned and painted. The front brakes are the original Kelsey-Hayes calipers with a aftermarket proportional valve and a dual chamber Master cylinder for additional safety. The engine starts and runs and drive well. This is not a numbers matching perfect vehicle that I am asking $35 to $50 thousand dollars - however it is a very nice driver - GT - A code - 4 speed car that has all the body work and paint completed.
There are a couple of things that I see that may need attention: the glove box door sticks, the console is missing a small piece under the dash, the radio does not work, needs a good cleaning and a little tender loving care.
