ALMOST INSTANTLY THE TRUCK WAS INVOLVED IN A VERY MINOR FENDER BENDER SO THE OWNER PURCHASED A SECOND BRAND NEW FORD F250 AS HE WAS IN HURRY TO GET HIS HORSES RELOCATED AND COULD NOT WAIT. THIS ONE WAS REPAIRED AT THE DEALERSHIP WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED AND NOT USED TO HAUL OR MUCH AT ALL AFTER THAT ONLY 39,000 MILES FROM 1992 TO 2009 AND NOT AT ALL AFTER THAT. THE TITLE IS CLEAN AND CLEAR AND THERE WERE NO AIRBAG DEPLOYMENTS JUST A LITTLE DAMAGE TO THE FRONT FENDER AND BUMPER THAT WAS REPAIRED AT THE DEALER BACK IN 1992 WHEN IT WAS BRAND NEW. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT EVEN USED AT ALL AFTER 2009 IT WAS JUST PARKED AT HIS RANCH COVERED. I PURCHASED THE TRUCK AND BEFORE I EVEN TURNED THE KEY I HAD THE VEHICLE LOADED AND TRANSPORTED TO A SHOP WHERE I SPENT OVER $2000.00 WITH RECEIPTS. IN THE LAST WEEK, HAVING THE GAS TANKS REMOVED, CLEANED, NEW FUEL PUMPS INSTALLED, NEW BATTERY, COMPLETE TUNE UP ALL THE FLUIDS FLUSHED, AND CHANGED. THE CYLINDERS WERE ALL PRESSURE TESTED, INJECTORS AND FUEL RAILS REMOVED, INSPECTED, CLEANED, THE WINDSHIELD HAD A SMALL CHIP I HAD THAT REPLACED.
THE VEHICLE STARTS RUNS, IDLES, AND DRIVES LIKE ITS BRAND NEW, EVEN THOUGH IT IS ALREADY 26 YEARS OLD.THE TRUCK WAS STORED WELL SO EVERYTHING LOOKS NEW, THE DOOR SEALS, ALL THE RUBBER IS VERY PLIABLE NOT DRY OR DETERIORATING AT ALL. THE POWER WINDOWS, SEAT ALL WORK WITH LIGHTNING SPEED. EVERYTHING WORKS LIKE NEW,EVEN THE RADIO SOUNDS GREAT THE OLD SPEAKERS ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR AND DO NOT CRACKLE THEY SOUND GREAT. I COULD NOT TEST THE TAPE DECK BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE A CASSETTE TAPE. THE ASHTRAY HAS NEVER BEEN USED THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER WORKS AND SO DO THE OTHER PLUGS.
THE ONLY THING COSMETICALLY BAD THING ABOUT THE TRUCK IS ONE TRIM PIECE ON THE INSIDE OF THE PASSENGER DOOR SUSTAINED SUN DAMAGE AT SOME POINT AND IS BROWN. YOU CAN SEE THAT CLEARLY AS I PHOTOGRAPHED IT.
SINCE I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK OUT OF THE SHOP I HAVE USED IT AND PUT 1 TANK OF GAS THROUGH THE FRONT TANK. BOTH TANKS WORK AND ALL GAUGES WORK. THE TIRES THAT ARE ON THE TRUCK ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, LOOK BRAND NEW, AND ARE NOT DRY ANYWHERE BUT THEY DEVELOPED FLAT SPOTS FROM SITTING, THE TRUCK SHAKES AT ABOUT 40MPH BECAUSE OF THIS THAN SMOOTHS OUT AFTER. THE SHOP INSPECTED THEM, INFLATED THEM TO MAX PRESSURE AND TOLD ME THEY WILL MORE THAN LIKELY RETAKE SHAPE WITH USE. THEY HAVE GOTTEN BETTER AS I DRIVE IT. IF THIS AUCTION GOES OVER $9,000 I WILL PUT BRAND NEW TIRES ON IT.
