Car description

1966 Mercury M250 V8, all original one owner truck in well preserved barn find condition. Selling with NO RESERVE to the highest bidder. We can assist in arranging shipping anywhere.
This Mercury was bought from an elderly farmer inthe small town of Birch Hills, Canada. He bought it new in 1966. It hadn't been used for the past couple of years and was kept in the barn. With agood battery and fresh fluidsthe original 352 FE V8fired right up and runs good. It is a 4 speed manual truck and it shifts well through all gears. The brakes work but do pull to the left. The tires are old and it would be wise to replace them before highway use. The lights all work. See video below.
The interior is in nice clean condition and all original with the addition of a Philco radio which works well. I'm unsure as to whether the seat upholstery is original but it does have a few rips but is still very usable. It has the factory optional gun rack. The door panels are in good shape. All gauges operate correctly. The headliner is in nice condition. And the Mercury truck owners handbook is in the glove compartment.
The body is remarkably straight for a farm truck. There is a minor dent on the passengers door and fender. The bed looks like its never been used for heavy work. And the all important Mercury tailgate is in very good condition. All unique Mercury emblems are present and in nice shape. There is some rust in the usual areas that this era Ford/Mercury truck tends to suffer from. But it is far more solid than most. There is a little rust in the drivers side fender and door andboth cab corners. The floorboards are remarkably solid as are the front cab mounts.
Overall a very nice original example of a rare truck that runs and drives. With very little work you could reliably drive this Mercury truck daily.

who we are and what we do

We are two brothersthat seek out original trucks and cars fromall acrossCanada specializing in vehicles from the 40s, 50s and 60s.

We started heading North to source these vehicles several years ago due to the severe lack of such vehicles in the US in recent times due to our huge car culture. Most American barn finds have long been found and tampered with by several owners yet North of the border there still seems to be an abundance of good solid original vehicles waiting to be brought back to life.

We make these great vehicles available to the US market by importing them into the US and providing all required paperwork to acquire a Clear US Title in your own name in your home State.

We also specialize insourcing Mercuryand Fargo trucks and have successfully imported and found new homes for dozens of fine original examples.

We are passionate about finding the best thatthere is and understand that our customers want to see automobiles that have not been tampered with; the more original, the better.

Our inventory is regularly updated, as new finds are unearthed. If there is something specific that you are looking for, then let us know and we'd be happy to see if we can help.

The business we conduct is straightforward and honest. Whether you're looking for something that'sall original, a starting point for a restoration project orsolid bones for a custom build, Bison Brothers will deliver.
