1969 Mustang Convertible. The car was a Ford executives in Dearborn with the DSO 89. The car is extremely rare originally Silver Jade with rare white deluxe high back seats. rare color- keyed styled steel wheels. A/C and more. See Marti Report. The car is most likely a one of one. In all my decades of following mustangs I've only seen one other convertible in this paint and trim and that was on a GT500. I bought the car about 6 years ago from Texas he bought it from a friend and his friend bought it from a ford dealer in Nebraska City. Nebraska and don't know the history before that. Being that it has an 89 DSO It was a ford executive's car or likely used in promotions especially with it's unusual and rare option configuration. I just had a new top and rear window installed. Before I bought it. it had a color change to Calypso Coral which is a 1969 special order color with a real nice body on paint job(I've had many compliments) and the interior appears to of been redone about the same time. The car runs great and can be a daily driver or a local show car. The engine has had some chrome dress up parts otherwise seems to be original. The A/C compressor comes uninstalled. The radio works but isn't hooked up and there is no knobs. The clock doesn't work which is typical. The front license plate bracket is included. I believe everything else works and the car has been dependable. The two mustang professionals that have worked on it mentioned how nice the car drives. You would be hard pressed to find another car like it.
