This is a Marti Report documented Mach 1 finished in its correct Silver Jade metallic paint & equipped with factory optioned luxury interior decor. This car was completely restored cosmetically and mechanically approximately 12 years ago and seldom driven since the restoration was completed. Power is courtesy of the correct 351 2V "H" code V8 engine paired with the FMX 3-speed automatic transmission. The paint and body are in excellent condition while the mechanicals are also first class. The Mach 1 was so popular on its inception in this first year of '69 that Ford did away with the GT altogether by the 1970 model year. This example is in beautiful condition throughout. The Silver-Jade Metallic paint was also ordered with this black-out hood treatment. The original trim identification plate is intact. We also have both of the original Ford Owner Cards for this Mustang. These cards are very rare. most were lost over the years. We also have the Marti Report. confirming the color combination & options. The 14-Inch factory wheels have been fitted with E70-14 Firestone Whitewall 4 ply poly-bias rubber all around for the period correct look and feel. Under the hood is the correct 351 2bbl. "H" code V8 engine. The engine was previously rebuilt and runs strong. The breather and valve covers are finned aluminum. The engine compartment itself is clean and detailed throughout. as shown in the photos. The alternator is a later chromed unit. Open the doors to 1969. The interior features black clarion knit vinyl & hi-back bucket seating with red accents. The interior is in great shape. showcasing period correct components throughout and Mach 1 specific details. The seating is in excellent condition as are the door panels. flooring. dash. and gauges. The woodgrain steering wheel is also in excellent condition. Be sure to look through our detailed photographs. The original AM radio was replaced with a Kenwood AM/FM cassette stereo. The original firewall. inner fenders and core support sheetmetal is in great shape. The undercarriage is a further testament to the quality of this Mustang Mach 1. The suspension has been rebuilt previously while the framerails and flooring are in very good condition throughout. The rear axle is clean and detailed are are the engine and transmission undersides. The gas tank has also been previously replaced. The ball joints and tie rod ends have been replaced. The A-Frame bushings were replaced as well. The shocks have also been replaced previously. The trunk is clean and detailed. in excellent condition and complete with the spare tire/wheel. jacking equipment and mat/spare cover.
