I purchased this Mustang five years ago from a California seller. Drove it off the hauler myself and have been driving it every few weeks or month ever since. All I have ever done is install a new fuel pump (45 minutes and $78) and had a carb kit installed in 2013 ($130). Never had any issue getting the right filters and parts from neighborhood stores such as O'Reilly's. This DOES NOT have to be an expensive fun car to own and drive. Like the few similarly made Mustangs in 1964. this beautiful convertible can be a show stealer if that is your desire. It never was for me. She has been garaged for as long as I have owned her. When I purchased. sight unseen. an independent appraiser graded the interior at 90% and the exterior at 75%. The only noticeable "road rash" is a few chips on the drivers door. Interior is the rare "Pony" edition and in spectacular condition. I added a retro looking in-dash AM/FM radio with 4 new speakers and an amplifier. It is upgradeable to add a CD or IPhone player. Previous owner had already installed a new white convertible top and it is flawless. Fuel gauge and horn are temperamental but I've never taken her in to have those issues addressed. I am told that these are common issues that are fairly easily repaired and Internet inquiries seem to confirm that. It just wasn't important enough to me to drive her into town and hitch a ride back to my place. Location is South Texas. Delivery Transportation is not provided but I used Magic Carpet Carriers (enclosed) and was very happy with the service and price.
