You will not find a nicer '70 project Challenger. This one is solid & NOT a bondo or rust bucket! Always garaged. The most I have done is put a battery in it. The engine cranked over and lights/indicators powered up but it would not fire so I moved onto another project and never revisited this one. Would most likely take a weekend or two of tinkering to get it running and road worthy again. It rolls freely and brakes work when applying pressure and it goes into gear with ease when pressing in clutch.
The only spot of rust I have found is in the upper part of the drivers side front fender which is minor. The trunk pan is solid, just surface scaling. The quarter panels, floors, etc. all appear to be solid & rust free. At some point prior to my ownership the vinyl top was removed and they never replaced & has been primed to protect. The original burnt orange interior will need redone, it is all there & complete but has seen better days. There are a few places that manufacture all new interior parts for these. Also included are the original 14" Rallye wheels and the original spare. I didn't touch any of the vintage stickers someone had placed under the trunk lid years ago and planned on keeping them because they were too cool! My plan was to put a new vinyl top on it, throw the original wheels back on and drive it as is because it has the perfect look.
I have owned this car for over two years and haven't had the chance to dig into it yet and we are now moving so will no longer have the space to keep inside. The car rolls freely and currently has a set of aftermarket Cragar wheels on it. Really hate to part with this one because it is a rare car in the fact that only 5,873 V8 Special Edition Challengers were produced in 1970 and this one has the factory Pistol grip 4sp. manual transmission, Go Mango Orange exterior and Burnt Orange Interior. Please only bid if you have the funds to purchase.

I wanted to add this since I have had some questions in regards to the following: The odometer shows 93467 but I cannot confirm if this is original for the car. I am the third owner and the guy I purchased it from was the nephew of the original owner. I am also unaware of the engine and what performance mods have been done, condition, etc. I just know that it cranks over good. If you have anymore questions feel free to contact me. It won't allow me to attach anymore pictures but email me if you would like pictures of the solid floor pansand odometer & I can send them to you.
