1981 DeLorean DMC-12 All Original 1 Ownwer Barn Find Fully Documented Survivor

Up for auction is a fine example of a Survivor that has been hiding for a very long time.
A Early & Unique 1981 DeLorean DMC with only 21,113 actual miles. Very well documented papertrail
Purchased new at John Hine DMC in San Diego, March 8th 1982
*Documented Dealer Special Painted Red ( Sold New From The Dealer Being Painted Red)*
Original owner, Alfred Sannipoli was a successful business owner & purchased DMC#02260 from the showroom floor as it was DMC Demo model.

Documentation includes window sticker - additional equipment sticker - owners manual /dealer DeLorean Booklet - CAEmissionswindshield sticker from factory -Pre-Delivery Inspection Check list - DMC booklets includingWarranties New Vehicles - John Hines Dealer receipts showing owner gave$24,821.20 upon purchase in cash/check -Most of the DMV records of registrations till 1997 - Original CA Pink Slip ( title ) proving ownership only being registered as a one owner. Including car insurance slips up until 1996.
Miles are documented thru Carfax as of Sept/90, having 17,410 plus misc. receipts proving miles are original.





Original Paint From John Hines Dealer! All original California Body that has never left Southern California with its original Blue plates. Has always been garaged and covered, cherished. Remains all stock & never been in any accidents or repainted. The DMC remains in beautiful condition in/out - for its age - its really is a time capsule.
All original drivetrain including the 5 speed manual transmission. Parked in 1997 but never sat. It was started every so often and kept the fluids running. Hasn't been on the road for some time but idles / brakes / shifts. Not ready to be driven on the road until the normal routine is gone thru. All the Electrical seems to be working fine.
The interior is all stock & original, down to the factory Early Craig Radio. This DeLorean is a correct early model & still has all of its unique features. Correct early handle straps, antenna & visors.
We would like to seeit go into the hands of a DeLorean Specialist. Someone who would really appreciate the condition & originality it has been in for many years. It stands out from any other DeLorean.
