Chevrolet Malibu 1980 Wagon

This car is mechanically sound. I drive it to work a couple of times a month, and I will continue to put miles on it while it is advertised for sale. Cold AC. Transmission shifts good. Engine, suspension, springs, brakes, exhaust all replaced 30K miles ago. Remanufactured steering box and power steering pump recently installed. Solid floors, body panels, and frame. No rot, there is some surface rust beginning on the rear deck around the spare tire that I have captured in the photo, as well as a small spot on the inside of the driver door. This is a complete, solid Texas car. I am the second owner. Original spare tire, jack, and lug wrench are still in the correct location. The exterior has been painted with body sealer to protect it from the elements, the car was originally maroon. Some details about the engine rebuild. The block was bored .060", the cylinder heads had a valve job, a new RV camshaft was installed, it's got a summit dual plane intake manifold with an edelbrock 500 cfm carb. The exhaust goes through stainless steel headers into 3 inch pipe to single 3 inch hooker muffler.
The interior is still the original maroon, the carpet is fading, the driver seat was re-upholstered, headliner replaced, dash is cracked, and the radio does not work.
This car is fun to drive, has the traditional V8 sound, and gets thumbs up from other drivers.
