You are looking at a NO RESERVE AUCTION 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer CST Highlander.
The CST is the highest trim level for the Blazer and this one has the CST package as well as the ultra rare Highlander Plaid interior package!
The SPID inside the glove box is in tact and states the K5's factory installed options. Those options are dark blue color, Cheyenne trim package, 350ci V8 engine, automatic transmission, bucket seats with consol, power steering, instrument cluster gauge package, white in color single wall removable top with two dome lamps, factory tinted glass and the ultra rare Highlander Plaid interior option.
This well preserved Blazer has its correct front bucket seats and brackets allowing the passenger seat to flip forward for access to rear cargo area. The Blazer also has its original seat belt holder center console, factory power front disc brakes, factory roll bar, rear cargo leveling mats, hardware and CST only rear cargo panels, stainless steel top hold down strips, front and rear carpet strips, correct rear bench seat and rear swing away spare tire carrier.
The Blazer runs and drives well. Starts up with the key, does not smoke or leak. Front hubs lock and unlock like they should. The transfer case works like it should in 2 wheel drive, four wheel drive high and low. Just dropped the gas tank, cleaned it, the fuel lines and the carburetor out. Also just replaced the fuel pump and new mufflers were installed. The Blazer comes with the Edelbrock carburetor as well as the original Quadrajet carburetor. Cooling system was flush and has good coolant. Blazer can use a tune up as it sat for a while before we got it running. True mileage is unknown as the odometer reads just under 55k miles but with a 5 digit odometer the 155k miles is a best guess.
You can drive the Blazer as is, but will need rust repair for a proper restoration. The radiator core support, outer fenders and fire wall are rust free. The outer rockers, torque boxes, driver's and passenger's foot areas and the tub area behind both doors will need rust repair. The step up and front cargo area around the roll bar is solid. Most of the rear wheel houses are solid. The Blazer will need rust repair in the rear cargo area where the rear wheel houses meet the floor in a few places. I have posted the maximum amount of pictures to clearly and accurately show the areas needing attention.
It is not often that a K5 Blazer CST is available for sale. It is very rare that one with the Highlander option is offered for sale. Don't miss this opportunity!
