| Description: Want to get into the 47-53 truck game? Take a peek at Bubba, a 1953 Chevy half ton pickup sitting on a 1991 Chevy s10 frame. This professionally done swap (no backyard hack job or cut frame) has been done with tremendous detail not seen in many other trucks at this price point. Bubba retains its v6 4.3 engine and automatic transmission to power the truck. A new radiator and electric fan combo were added which sets up the truck perfectly for a v8 swap. But what sets this truck apart from all the others is the level of detail. The inside of the cab, dash, doors, under hood and jambs have all been stripped and painted green to compliment the outside patina. Brand new front grill with insert painted to match the interior color has been added along with new Chevy emblems. The 1991 S10 frame was the choice for building this awesome ride. With power brakes, power steering and modern design, the 53 body was mounted to the frame. Bubba was lowered with new drop spindles and lowering blocks. A new 12 circuit wire harness was installed to power all the lights and new gauges. Even the ac compressor and bracket was left on for future use. The cab was stripped down and was patched/redone as needed. New cab corners and transmission tunnel were expertly welded in to ensure a strong body. After the cab was complete, sound deadening was put down to make the cab tight along with new carpeting. Notice the awesome wheel set? Brand new Riddler 650 18-inch wheels sitting on brand new tires complete the look that everyone wants.. low with big wheels. The bed has been expertly redone with wheel tubs and a new bed wood kit. Notice the green paint detail in the bed to match the interior paint! Bed has been shortened to match s10 frame and looks killer. Take a look at other builds and compare these items to those builds. None have this detail often just slapping together a cab and bed....often selling for higher prices. We watch all the ebay auctions and Craigslist/Facebook ads daily for these trucks and know they are selling with less features and for more money. Remember.. this is a 60+ year old truck mounted to a 26 year old chassis so there will be things to maintain on the s10 part. Clean title in hand. We have over 60 more photos of the build available here: http://fatkidcustoms.com/sale/ - to show the level of work needed on this truck. Nothing slapped together... you can see the entire build process.
