1953 Chevy 3100 half-ton three-window pickup

Honest old-time Plugger truck originally from Mississippi and then North Carolina. Good running six-cylinder engine three-speed column shift. Optional heater. New shocks and front springs new modern Goodyear 205/75 x 15" radials on 15x6 steel rims with 1953 Chevy passenger vehicle optional sombrero full hubcaps. Brakes rebuilt. New wood. It appears that the prior owner replaced the front windshield glass and much of the rubber. Bumpers and various bright work have also been replaced. Body-color front grille with white hand-painted pinstripes. Everything works as designed including the heater. Current Massachusetts safety inspection.This is a wonderful driver-quality truck with older paint that still looks great. The color is the correct "new for 1953" blue that was an instant sensation compared to the many black and mud-green trucks that were common in the day. There are various minor imperfections in the paint and surfaces that are consistent with an earlier restoration. It is not a show truck but the next owner certainly could make it that with reasonable effort. The truck never fails to turn heads and draws a crowd at the local ice cream stand. I received a question this evening re. whether the gauges work. Yes all gauges and all switches work. I also have a separate NOS 4-gauge cluster for the truck that I have never installed but will include with the truck in case the new owner wishes to "freshen" the appearance of the left instrument cluster gauge.
