Car description

1991 BMW 318is SlickTop S52 SwapFive Lug ConversionProfessionally DoneNew PaintCageNO RESERVE
So to start off, this is one jewel of a car. I have personally owned or built 7 other E30 swaps, both S50 and S52 motors, normally aspirated, turbo or supercharged and looked a dozens more. This particular car is the top of my list. I have only seen a handful that would top this in build quality or caliber of parts used. Don't believe me, compare it.
This particular e30 started its life as a 318is slicktop (no sunroof). That is rare plus an excellent starting point for the purpose of this build which was to be a bad a$$ track day car that looked good on the street. I think misson accomplished on this one. See the list below of the build. Start was a Georgia sourced 318is. Build took 3 years, engine install and conversion done by Bimmerbuddies on the east coast. Professional body shop stripped the 318 down to bare metal, repaired a small (quarter sized) rust hole in the battery tray, and installed the cage and painted the entire car, interior and exterior PPG Starfire Blue Metalic and 6 coats of clear. Most of all the parts were purchased new. This car is a little raw for the street, as it was intended to be a competitive track car, but full of fun and excitement. This car was intended to be in my personal collection for a long time as I thought this was one of the best examples I could find (under $50k), however as occurs with life sometimes, I have not gotten the time to devote to the track I want.

I have a huge list itemizing the parts. Some things everyone will ask, NO POWER STEERING, NO A/C. This was built as a track car. This was an expensive build and is a blast on the track. It will surprise many "fast" cars how quick and agile this e30 is on the track. On the street, well its just a hoot.
So, this is a NO RESERVE auction, so please no dreamers, and have your finances in order prior to bidding. Don't be a lame D$&^ and bid then tell me you lost your job or other excuse to back out. If you are on the fence then please don't bid and let us big boys take it from here. Cash, cashiers check or wire transfer is only acceptable method of payment (other than deposit). ALL sales will also incur an additional $149 dealer fee added to final bid price.
