WILLYS JEEP CJ2A 1946 VERY EARLY MODEL

I am offering my rare Willys CJ2A. This is the seldom seen Very Early Civilian model (VEC). ser # 10619. This looks like a civilianized MB with three speed column shift, large headlights, tailgate and side mounted spare tire. Full floating rear axle, one piece windshield, muffler under drivers seat, axe and shovel indents. Much of original Pasture Green paint still shows along with the Autumn Yellow wheels. Remains the original 6 volt system.

This beauty was an original garage find and I had full intentions on restoration but too many other projects and not enough time. Other rare and unique features are a factory full cab made by Koenig Iron Works, Houston, TX and most amazing of all there is zero rust in cab or frame. Vehicle has been in garage since 1978. Some of the items I have replaced with new include: fuel pump and hose; all new wheel cylinders, differential gasket; pinon seal; master cylinder, carburetor repair kit,distributor, coil and coil bracket, spark plugs, spark plug wires.

Additional info: after many queries the serial numbers all match, inside firewall and front horn on frame; engine block CJ2A 10927 which I am told is normal. All original parts still available. Includes skid plate, 5 tire chains. No rust in hat channels
