1989 VOLVO 240DLSilver exterior with the paint fading as typical for the color. The body is in overall great shape with no major dings or dent to mention. The wheels are an aftermarket that are in OK condition. I have center caps for the ones in the picture. I also have an original set with hub caps, owever, have to keep one set or the other because I have two Volvos. The tires are starting to crack from sitting. I originally had them on the other Volvo and it stayed parked for quite a while. The interior is black cloth and in very good condition for the year. It has an automatic transmission, anual seats, anual windows, anual mirrors. I wouldn't have it any other way. No rust issues to mention...all glass is good. I know I'm fairly close on the mileage...probably guessed a little over. Now the issues with the car...I let my son attempt to install a new exhaust system. Well he got close but no cigar. The kit that I purchase said complete exhaust system (Starla) and I misinterpreted exactly what complete meant. There is a piece missing between the catalytic converter and the front muffler. I am going to have that resolved before I allow pickup of the vehicle. Also, hile he was under there I had him to install the overdrive override plate since it is not prescribed to have overdrive here in the states. That brought up a battery charge issue maybe. Prior to the "I want to be a Master Mechanic's" debut, had driven the car 172 miles a day for about the past four months with no issues. I believe it to be something simple. It may be the alternator and I'm going to try and have that checked prior to auction end as well. I did replace the battery not being sure at first. Other things of interest is the AC doesn't work and I would almost bet that it needs a new compressor which seams to be common in these vehicles. A dash light is on that signals that a light is not working but they all work. The car is not here at my house so I might miss something. Feel free to ask questions. The car is located in Virginia. Thanks for your inquiry and Good luck bidding! Also, he car is for sale local so I may have to end the auction early if purchased locally.
