| 1972 Volvo p1800

This P1800"e" is an ideal candidate for restoration. The "e" is in quotes because the previous owner removed the injection system and replaced it with a carb. I still have the injector computer.
I believe that I am the 3rd owner.This car was purchased by me in 2002 as a daily driver and then I was planning on a full restoration - however, plans and situations change.
Since retirement, my mother-in-law has died and my father-in-law has moved in with us and has many health issues that demand the majority of my time.
Also, we had to sell the property that had the location where I was planning on doing the rebuild.The car has sat for the last 2.5 years. It was running prior to my starting the tear-down process. There is a slight oil leak at the rear seal, however, that was going to be fixed in the rebuild.
While there is some rust, however, the floorboards and rocker panels were professionally replaced with items from Don Thibault. I also purchased a rear end from Don and replaced that. The gas tank has been re-sealed, new springs and shocks (front and rear), new gas line and new carpet are all included. I have the original interior and also purchased some New Matrix Type X racing seats for the front, along with new seatbelts.
The rims were replaced with after-market rims and new tires were installed.
I have also purchased new seals, bushings, etc and all of that is included. I also have all of the original molding and both front and rear bumpers.

I know I will probably take a loss, but sometimes we just have to move on.
The car was in the process of being prepped for Media blasting - but all of that came to a screeching halt (just like the brakes did for this great car.
Please, consider this as a great opportunity for a restoration. This Coupe is not listed on the registry, and I would love to see it rebuilt and be the showcar that it could be.______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
