Description
Up for sale is my 1989 gold Volvo 240 station wagon. I bought this car in San Diego to drive home from college, and now must sell it, since I'm picking up a Jeep from my uncle.Volvo 240s are amazing cars, known for their reliability and safety. Its got a bulletproof engine that'll take you to a million miles.

She's a strong runner, who took me from Southern California back to Colorado with no issues. She's got a ton of room in the back and'll take you on some great adventures, as well as spice up that row of Subaru outbacks at every trailhead.
This is a great car to own with it's iconic looks and incredible reliability.
It's also pretty easy to work on. So far I've replaced the brakes, missing trim (not pictured, but I just picked some up and it's on the car!), NEW TIRES (~1400 miles on them), air filter, and power steering belt. I also got her brakes bleed and got an alignment recently. Fuel injectors were cleaned recently as well.
New Fuel Pump!!!!
For a 1989, it has some pretty neat features, such as:
- Power windows
- Seat heaters
- Strong AC (which was redone a few years ago)
- Very good heating system. It's a CRIME that this vehicle spent most of its life in Southern California, because the heating system is fantastic
- Aftermarket CD player head unit
- wired for a subwoofer
- fancy tire tube caps
As with many older vehicles, she has developed a few quirks and acquired a few dents
- speakers aren't wired to the head unit
- long scratch on the drivers side, but perfect if you have a long, narrow sticker you were wanting to put somewhere cool
- a few rust spots
- broken glovebox
- cracked light cover
- odometer broke, but a lady never tells right?
She comes with a spare tire, jack, jumper cables, etc.
Does not come with the Yakima rack system pictured.
