Well, I used to find stuff like this all the time. Not so much anymore. What this is is a 1973 Volvo P1800 ES wagon.. That had sat for the last 10 years or so in outdoor storage behind the elderly owners home in Southern Oregon .Along with a 68 P1800S Coupe I am also bought and am listing here next. This wagon will be a great base to work with. Bring it back to life with most everything there solid and nice. And unplayed with over the years. For a car that has sat for over a decade, this car is a real find and really deserves to drive down the road again. Not many chances to find neat cars like this to do that with anymore .It is AT car. With a very, very nice interior. Oregon is not great for rust, but the flip side is really nice non cooked interiors. Usually. The seats are still nice, uncracked, unripped and are beauties. Front and back.Door panels are uncut..The car looks to of been repainted once over its original white. The paint is a bit pearlescent. with minor scratches, small dents, some rust bubbling thru the paint here and there but overall is not bad and nice enough for a daily driver with some work. While the floors, inner and outer rockers are pretty much rustfree, sitting in the Oregon weather took its toll on the hood hinge mount area. Right side is off and the left just barely connected still. So either new hood or some reinforcing across the hinge mount area is in order. This is a AC car.And it looks like some performance parts were added over the years. Front and rear IPD sway bar kits installed cleanly. Some new braided steel brake lines. The B20 engine has a header exhaust manifold. The fuel pump is missing. The extetior chrome is in excellent shape, as is the front grille.Overall this car looks like it was owned and maintained by a hardcore Volvo P1800 guy who knew how to do it right. The odometer shows 169,000 miles or so, but I have no clue if that is accurate. The engine turns over nicely . Did a compression check dry and came up with 90,90,70,80 psi. Not great but after sitting for this long at least it is not stuck. Compression may go up with some run time, but do not count on that. Valves, head wor, rings, may be in order. As usual, hope for the best, plan for the worse. ES wagons are neat. And getting harder to find in any shape for reasonable money. Especially with as much going for it as this one.I travel around the West Coast with my truck and trailer and might be able to get it to you or close. And can arrange trucking to Long Beach California shippers for overseas buyers for $300. Clean straight title.Bidders with less than 10 positive feedback must contact me before bidding or else bid will be cancelled.
