Unusually nice 1989 Volvo 240 wagon. Super clean car from Texas, lways garage kept. Since a majority of the miles are highway miles, his good running 240 has a lot of life left. Does not leak or burn oil! Highly desirable dark blue/green paint (code 402 "blue green metallic"). Paint surface is really shiny, ith very, ery few chips. Center of hood has some thinning and fading paint, hough not bad yet. Beautiful tan interior with very clean carpet, loth seats also clean with minimal wear, lean ceiling and equipped with a great condition third seat. Power windows. Roof rack is strong and has a nice chrome surface without any corrosion. Windshield has NO cracks or chips in it, nd all windows are unscratched. Mirrors are clear. Non-smoking car. Clean engine compartment, hough could use some extra cleaning. Working Bosch fog lights (very bright). Upgrade black OEM grille. Headlights are CIBIE and very clear...not yellowed. No cracks or fading on any turn signal or brake lenses. The dash has NO cracks. The entire dash area is very clean and without issues. Gauge lenses are clear. Seat heaters work. Cubbie bin in center console unbroken. Fold-down center armrest (OEM upgrade) has no rips or stains. Newer exhaust. Just drove car from Dallas to SW Colorado with no problems. 26 mpg over the whole trip, ncluding coming over the mountains (route tops out at 11,000 feet at Red Mountain Pass). Tires have about 50-60% life remaining, nd have even wear. Everything about this vehicle can be described by the word clean. Bottom of the car is also fairly clean. Rockers are quite clean. Bottom of all doors are clean and rust-free. All door panels are also clean and stain-free (drivers door panel is shown in picture, ut all door panels are the same excellent condition), ap pockets are unbroken and uncracked. Excellent wipers. Comes with the original tool kit, pare tire, ack, n extra hub cap, nd two extra fog lamp bulbs. Stereo cassette radio also works well.Small issues: several small dings--see pictures. Two on driver's side front fender, wo on the drivers side front and rear doors (minor). One on the tailgate top edge in middle. There are two areas where there is some surface rust bubbling--see pictures--one area on rear drivers wheel well and the other under the rear tailgate window wiper edge. Top of fenders has a black surface which has the start of sun peeling. Air conditioning needs recharge/attention.Overall, his is a truly fine specimen of a 240! We are a Volvo 240 wagon family since 1999. Local pickup or if you happen to live in the Denver area, would be able to deliver the car to to Denver on or around October 21st, s we're headed through there then.
