MINT 1988 VOLKSWAGEN SCIROCCO 16-VALVE

Selling this nicely restored 1988 16 valve Scirocco. This is a clean CARFAXED 87,500 mile - two owner car. It was given a “windows out” two stage paint job in the correct black and it looks perfect. All of the rubber seals and scrapers were replaced, as was the windshield. The bumpers were textured and refinished as well. The wheels are the correct “teardrops” and refinished to look like new and new tires were installed. The emblems were also refinished to look like new. Mechanically, new fuel pumps were installed, as was a new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. Other new parts include a new starter, alternator, front struts, plugs, filters, brake pads and ignition switch. The a/c was converted to 134 and blows ice-cold.The interior is in mint condition. The dash was replaced with one that is perfect and crack/defect free. There are no rips, tears or wear marks on the seats or door panels. Matching custom black with grey trimmed floor mats were installed. All the speakers were replaced, and a period correct OEM radio was installed. The only non-OEM parts are front and rear strut bars and they could be removed if desired. If you’ve been watching these increase in value, you’ll know what a nice example this is - and it runs, shifts and drives as good as it looks.
