1966 Volkswagon VW Beetle Black red interior full restored california car

CMC is proud to have this beautiful 1966 Volkswagon. 1966 is the last year for Porsche style glass head lights. Finished in Black with Red interior and residing from California, this is one car to strongly consider.

This beetle has been fully restored starting with the most solid California car available. All body panels are solid and original. The original body was stripped to bare metal and expertly repainted in the correct black exterior. The interior has been fully restored starting with the dash board to be painted and polished. All Chrome has been chrome plated. The seats have been restored back to new. The correct carpet has been installed. The steering wheel was refinished along with all of the gauges. The underside and floors are spotless and have been painted black as well. The wheels were restored and new tires were installed. The luggage compartment has been refinished with the proper trim and finished very nicely. The entire drive-train has been rebuilt. The engine was expertly rebuilt by Butchville Wagon Works. The engine bay has been fully redone and is very clean and tidy.

Mechanically, this Beetle runs and drives as good as it looks. The engine starts up every time with ease. The motor is powerful and pulls well through the gears. The transmission shifts into all gears very smoothly and it very easy to drive. The car handles and stops well. All lights and gauges function well. The end result is a flawlessly running Beetle.
